A for apple!

Last week, as usual after work, we had dinner at my mom house. While we eating, my mom carry wai wai over, and ask him: “A for?”, then wai wai answer “apple!”. Me and daddy so shock! We can’t believe our ear, we ask wai wai again, “Wai Wai, A for?”, wai wai answer again “apple”. Me and daddy are so happy and proud of our son, he is only 21 months old and he is able to answer this type of question. And also a BIG THANKS to wesley (my brother’s son, 13 year old) who always teach Wai Wai so many things. After 2 days later, Wai Wai is able to answer “B for Bus” and "C for Car".

Happy learning, my baby!

Back to work 开工囉!

I when back to work again loh! Back to a 9 to 5 working life. Being a full time working mum is not as easy as I through, I have been struggling for a while to get myself settle down.

During that one month+ transaction period, many things need to adjust accordingly. Especially my poor little baby - wai wai, he needs to wake up very early or if he is still asleep, I will carry him very gentle, and try not to wake him up, and let him sleep until we reach my mom’s house (try to let him sleep a few more minutes).

In the evening (once the sky is dark) he will be very impatience, waiting for us to bring him home. He gets very excited when the phone rings (because we usually call before we reach there), if my mom put down the phone without letting him talk to me, he will be very angry. So far my mom said he is ok with the new adjustment, morning and afternoon has no problem, only in the evening if we go back late, wai wai will start make noise, and keep asking my mom to bring him outside. But because I am car pool with hubby, he finish work at around 6 something, by the time he reach my office is around 7pm, then reach my mom house about 8pm.

Normally we have a quick dinner at my mom’s house, and then only we bring wai wai home. By the time we reach home is almost 9pm, so is time to prepare wai wai to sleep. So we left about 1 hour to play with him, feed him milk before he goes to bed.

When comes to weekend, we try to spend more time with wai wai, and do some house work as well.
